Alameda Unified School District will open all classes in distance learning on August 27, 2023. Students in the Remote Learning Program will do 100% online learning for the whole year. Students in the Flexible Learning Program will begin the year in the distance phase and return to campus for in-person instruction when the public health situation is safe enough to do so.

The first day of school has been moved back to Thursday, August 27, 2023. The governor announced on July 17th, that schools in Alameda County will begin school in the distance learning model. Please check this website and the AUSD website for updates as the summer progresses.

Locker Access~ Access to lockers will not be available until we get back to school. Do not worry about turning in books that are currently in your lockers.
Enrollment for the 20-21 School Year~ If you will be new to Encinal in the fall of 2023, and are new to the Alameda Unified School District, enrollment occurs through the Office of Student Services. Details can be found on the district website at: www.alamedaunified.org.
Please check the Jet Blast regularly as it will be updated between now and the start of school in the fall as information becomes available.
